Judges: David Smith

Suzuki violin/fiddle teacher David Smith has captured top-tier trophies at state-level and national fiddle competitions around the U.S. including first places in Nevada (2003-04); seconds in Kentucky (2003-06), Illinois (2002-04) and Georgia (2003); and fifth places at both the Clifftop, WV festival (2002) and the National Old-Time Fiddlers' Contest in Weiser, ID (2004).

In 2005 he served as a judge in Weiser and in 2006-07 he will help judge the American String Teachers Association's Alternative Styles competition. He currently is in his fourth year as a teacher at the Oshkosh (WI) Suzuki Music Program.
